We heard a rumor that the Naches Library is in jeopardy of closing. It is vital for this cherished landmark to remain here with us and help our children grow. It is the center piece of our city. The librarian has raised our children, taught us to read, to sew, started book clubs, arts and crafts, singing, music and so much more. Yakima Valley Library is negotiating to update a 50+ year old contract to run the Naches branch of the library with the city. 

It’s unfortunately a steep hill for the city to climb from a budget perspective.
