Neighbours has axed the beloved character of Melanie Pearson from the show, 37 years after her first appearance. Sign to show your support for this legacy character, and the wonderful Lucinda Cowden who plays our Mel!

There is still absolutely a place for her on the show! Whether that be serving coffee in Harold's or working behind the Waterhole, we need to save this beloved character from the axe! Heck, she could either be Krista's mother! Mel has definitely got her groove back recently, and to loose her as a regular would be such a shame!!! 

It's always a shame to see characters axed, not just because a talented actor has lost their job, but as fans we loose a part of us with them! Mel has always been one of my favourite characters, always bringing positivity to the screen!
