hello everyone as you know Punta Gorda airport is looking to sell the property where 4-17 southern speedway is located formerly know known as charlotte county speedway and I would like to save this track as it is the local track around..... this track is what made myself and many others fall in love with racing it was honestly my first love I grew up coming to this track watching my uncles race here every Saturday night under the Beautiful southwest Florida night with the smell of burnt rubber and race fuel in the air. this gives everyone a escaped from the real world and just come together enjoy the one thing we all have in common and the love of stock car racing. this track has so many memories for myself and so many other fans that come to the track I know this track was my first ever track so please help me save memories for myself and everyone else.
