Save our free community haunted tent attraction
The Issue
Every October, our family comes together to create a magical experience—a free haunted tent attraction that brings joy to families, especially those who can't afford pricey Halloween activities. For many, this event is a highlight of the year, providing an opportunity to celebrate the spooky season without breaking the bank. We offer free juice and candy to ensure everyone feels the Halloween spirit.
Unfortunately, some people in our community are filing complaints, claiming that our beloved event takes resources away from the town. They demand permits and want to shut us down, negating the goodwill and positivity we've fostered. This free attraction is a labor of love, supported wholeheartedly by our family and friends and our neighbors cherish the sense of community it fosters. An love what we’re doing, with no complaints.
Last year, we brought happiness to so many and that was our goal once again. Shutting us down would deprive many families of a cherished and accessible Halloween tradition. It's about community spirit and inclusivity, and we ask for nothing in return but the smiles and laughter of our visitors.
The requirement for permits could impose unnecessary financial strain and make it impossible to continue this free service. Instead of shutting us down, we urge the town to recognize the value of this initiative and support us in keeping it alive for everyone to enjoy.
We believe with your support, we can prove that our haunted tent is an asset, not a liability. Let's show that our community stands together for traditions that make everyone feel included.
Please sign this petition to help us keep our Halloween dream alive, offering joy to those who need it most without adding financial burdens. Your signature is a step towards preserving community spirit and supporting accessible family fun. Let's preserve our haunted tent and the traditions of joy and inclusivity it represents.
