The City of Fairfax is making us evict our ducks. Even though the Linn County ALLOWS chickens and ducks, the city will not allow them to stay. 

Our ducks are not violating or harming the community. They have a warm clean coop, a large backyard, and swimming pool. Extensive care has been put into raising our babies and providing them a loving home. Our neighbors all enjoy our ducks and have never referred to them as a "nuisance" that the city states. Fairfax residents often stop by to greet the ducks and tell us how much they enjoy them. These ducks are part of our family and we would be devastated if they had to leave.

We live next to a pond with wild geese and ducks literally right next to our fence ever day. How are our domestic ducks any different? There are other Fairfax residents that have "livestock" on their property, and I'm hoping the city does not come after them next.
