The zoning and planning board recommended the future use amendment by a 3-1 vote. Mr. Solenski voted no, understanding the detrimental impact this would have on our residential neighborhood while Mike McKee, Walt Graham, and  Jeff Todd voted to destroy the Hackney Ter neighborhood. County planner Seth Lane seemed to be a huge proponent of commercial development regardless of the neighborhoods it plans to overdevelop and negatively impact. Join us at the County Commissioners meeting to stop the overdevelopment on the stretch of 90.
