We need your help to save our community based child care center. The parents and external members of the Glebe Parents’ Day Care (GPDC) board of directors have been holding secret meetings and making arrangements to sell the GPDC to Andrew Fleck Childcare Services (ACFS). Staff board members were deliberately excluded from these conversations.

We respectfully ask the friends and families of the GPDC to demand that the parent and community members of the GPDC board stop the sale of the GPDC at this time. 

Staff and families deserve the respect of an open and transparent process where all opinions are heard and considered. Despite the board's statement that this is one “option” that is being considered, funding and lease agreements have already been allocated to this sale. We believe that this decision is too large to be made by 8 people when there are hundreds of stakeholders that will be affected by this change.
