We are deeply concerned by the threat to town centre car parking in Huntingdon, St Ives and St Neots and the bus stations in Huntingdon and St Ives 

We all want to see our market towns thrive but Capital & Centric’s emerging proposals threaten to remove essential town centre parking. Our independent shops, local businesses and residents rely on accessible parking every day.

We call upon Huntingdonshire District Council to reject any proposals that seek to remove or relocate town centre parking and bus stations. 

We also call upon HDC to take full control of the regereration project  and not to proceed  any furthe until a proper framework of governance and communication plan is in place.
