As we all know, the Milwaukee Bucks have been one of the best teams in the NBA for the last 5 years, and have enjoyed an incredible run of success that has made some of the toughest years of being a loyal fan of our beloved city worth it, with multiple deep playoff runs and even a championship in 2021 to put the ultimate end to our sorrows.

  There has however been one consistently weak link amongst the team, the head huncho himself, Mike Budenholzer. Despite winning it all in 2021, the bucks have suffered multiple years of unnecessary and unwarranted failure with Bud at the helm. He failed to lead us properly in the bubble (an admittedly extraneous environment, but walking in as one of the best teams AND favorites to win it all, the way we crumbled was pathetic), barely led us past Atlanta and Phoenix to our championship, and let Boston simply out-shoot us with barely an adjustment in the penultimate game of last season. To compound this series of lack-luster performances, he has now led us to be one of only 6 teams in league history to lose in the first round of the playoffs as the top seed.

  This level of blatant and utter failure should be considered unacceptable to our city. With Khris Middleton, Brook Lopez, Greyson Allen, and much of our rosters contracts all coming to an end this summer, many a question surrounding our Big Three, team as a whole, and possibly even our ability to compete for the Larry O’Brian trophy will all likely be raised in the coming months between now and October.

  Any native or long-term term resident of Milwaukee or Wisconsin knows that if there’s one thing all of wisconsin can ever agree on, its our sports. We all know what needs to be done to restore our faith in this team. We need not waste time and money restructuring our already well-oiled machine of a roster, we should instead use this off-season to find a new chief to helm us to glory!
