This petition will help animals that are on the streets like dogs or cats that have no owner or care, just like a problem every time it rains or there is a storm and other disasters that leave the animals on the roads. As stated in The Animal Welfare Act of 1998 is the first law in the Philippines that aimed to protect the welfare of animals by prohibiting acts of cruelty towards animals, such as maltreatment, torture, killing, and neglect. The animal welfare law also regulates the sale, transport, and handling of animals to ensure their welfare. Violators of this law may face penalties, including fines and imprisonment. In an another hand, as stated in Section 7 It shall be the duty of every person to protect the natural habitat of the wildlife. The destruction of said habitat shall be considered as a form of cruelty to animals and its preservation is a way of protecting the animals. 
One way to assist is through volunteering, adopting animals, providing necessities for animals, and standing up for people.
