The M18 girls have kept their design for a long time, and the 'swimsuit' look became canonical and the most recognizable for them. Now, without asking the community, their design has been replaced.

The argument that 'the design was temporary' doesn't hold for a look that was used for years — especially one that was even updated with a cut-out in the swimsuit (the so-called 'Open Top').

If the design was truly temporary, then what was the point of the Open Top update, based on a look that was supposedly going to be changed anyway?

Through this petition, we want to cancel the redesign and keep either the Open Top version or the classic swimsuit.

That design, that appearance, was a symbol of these characters. It made them original. Different from the rest.

Take Tiger or Panther A — you can tell they're unique just by their outfits. They stand out. They're memorable.

That’s what a real character is. A real personality.

The new M18 Hellcat and Blackcat design loses that uniqueness. It makes them blend in with others, makes them fade into the background.

They no longer feel like distinct characters with their own special look and personality — more like background NPCs, soulless husks that exist just to exist.

This is not how we want to see the M18 characters develop.
