Did you know that NIU used to have two pools open for student use? One was in Gabel Hall, the other in Anderson. 

Gabel Hall's pool closed permanently in 2018, leaving Anderson Pool the last one standing. Now with Anderson pool currently closed, and leaning towards permeant closure, this is our last chance to prevent the permanent loss of accessible swimming to our student body. Gabel Hall is a grim look into what the future of Anderson pool could be if we don't take this opportunity to fight for it!
