New Orleans is dying under its current leadership. It’s a shame that crime has surged to the point that people are being carjacked and shot at in the middle of the day. Why is our mayor content letting the police chief and DA fight it out and not be involved in the solution. Why are parades being shortened because of “police shortages “ yet her parade is untouched? This administration has targeted neighborhoods that don’t need help in anything besides quality of life issues being addressed. We need a leader who will not tell the police to not enforce but will help them do their job and provide the resources to do so. We deserve a leader who follows up on their campaign promises instead of promising one thing and doing another. We need a leader who will fight for the youth to stop the crime cycles created by the State law. We need a leader from New Orleans that cares about new Orelans and her future rather than someone who wants a legacy and is ready to yell in the face of residents when confronted without a mask during a pandemic. New Orleans deserves better!
