On April 18, 2023 two of our dogs had an altercation with our neighbors two dogs resulting in one of their dogs getting seriously injured and having to be put down. The maintenance of the fence on our property line was neglected on their side from their dog chewing through it resulting in my two dogs entering their yard. I was not in her backyard to witness what happened but they claim one of my dogs attacked their smaller dog (the one that was euthanized as a result of the attack). Their larger dog is very aggressive and it's possible he could have attacked their smaller dog. My two dogs were badly injured with bite marks where their larger dog attacked them (neither of their dogs had current rabies vaccines or city tags at the time). I went to court regarding the matter and the judge ordered that I remove ALL dogs from my home for a period of 6 months and I have less than a week to do so. Two of my dogs are registered service dogs and after questioning the judge he said they must be removed from the home as well. The other dogs that were secure in my home at the time had no part in the incident whatsoever.  IMMEDIATELY after the incident I removed the two dogs involved in the altercation and placed them in safe home. I have NO intentions of bringing the two of those dogs back to my home at any point in time. Two of my dogs are registered service dogs and after questioning the judge he said they must be removed from the home as well. All of my dogs are UKC and ABKC registered SHOW DOGS, DNA profiled and Embark tested as 100 percent American Bullies. The judge also mentioned pushing for a 'Pitbull' ban in our area because they're a 'pitbull type' breed. My dogs were trained guard dogs doing their job when the altercation happened.  We're in the process of getting an attorney to appeal the case.
