I purchased my house December 20, 2021 and was living peacefully with no neighbor problems at all. Fast forward to October of 2022 the code enforcement officer came to my house to tell me that the neighbor had a problem with my carport and it was flooding their yard. So I talked to the husband about putting a gutter up and he told me not to worry about anything that it wasn’t hurting their place so I dropped it. Now January 3, 2023 I get a certified letter stating that my carport needs to come down because of the complaints from my neighbor. I would like to see who thinks I should take my carport down to please her or who thinks I shouldn’t do anything because I payed for the carport when I bought my house.
