MuppetVision 3D* isn’t just another theme park attraction—it’s the final project directed by DISNEY LEGEND Jim Henson before his passing in 1990. It represents the last time the original Muppet performers came together under Jim’s creative leadership. For more than three decades, it has stood as a living tribute to his genius, humor, and vision.

Now, Disney plans to close MuppetVision 3D* permanently on June 8, 2025 to make room for the new Monsters Inc land. This decision not only removes an iconic and irreplaceable piece of entertainment history—it dishonors the legacy of a man they once named a Disney Legend.

When people die, their spirit can live on through their work. MuppetVision 3D* is Jim’s ghost—his last laugh, still echoing in the theater. To shut it down is to silence that ghost forever, trapping it in limbo. Fans around the world are heartbroken. We believe this closure is wrong.

We are calling on Disney to reconsider the closure of MuppetVision 3D* or, at the very least, create a permanent in-park tribute to Jim Henson and this historic show. Let it be preserved on Disney+, displayed in a museum space, or celebrated—not erased.
