Matthew Thomas Gordon is a well-beloved English teacher at Matthew McNair Secondary. Mr. Gordon is truly a phenomenal teacher who has changed the lives of all his students, and every one of his students can vouch for him. There is no other teacher in the district who has impacted students positively as much as Mr. Gordon has.

We, the students, want to draw attention to the problems that our education system is experiencing. Many essential and extraordinary instructors are currently being rejected by the school system in favour of older educators with tenure or more years of experience.

We, the students, will not stand for this unwarranted change and will fight until the very end as this is a cause we wholeheartedly support and believe in.
