Update: Unanswered Member Concerns and the Need for an SGM

Thank you to everyone who has signed this petition. The support so far shows that many members care deeply about the future of MPTC and believe in transparency, accountability and meaningful member involvement.

Many members have felt ignored and excluded from important decisions affecting the club. Concerns raised with the committee have not received adequate responses, which is why an SGM is necessary.

On 22nd June, I wrote to the committee raising concerns about the surveillance cameras installed under the eaves of the clubhouse and whether they were capable of recording audio. I also questioned the lack of clear signage informing members and visitors that conversations may be recorded. To date, I have received no response.

This lack of engagement highlights the need for an open forum where members can ask questions, receive answers and have a genuine say in the future direction of the club.
