Copper, or as I like to call her, Moxie is a neighbor's dog who I believe needs to be rehoused immediately. Two nights ago I found a Yorkie walking around our front yard who had looked to be astray for months. She had matting all the way to her roots, hair completely covering her eyes, nails almost growing into her paws, reeking of cigarette smoke, and many more signs of severe neglect. We had bathed her multiple times and gave her the best trim we could to our ability. We were so ready to give this poor dog a loving home. Only to find out the next day that she is our across-the-street neighbor. I was dumbfounded when finding out someone would treat such a sweet girl this way. The purpose of this petition is to gain names behind our actions in an attempt to get Moxie back into a loving home. Whether it involves law enforcement or personal confrontation it needs to get done and quickly!
