For several years, MovieStarPlanet ApS (MSP) has been in a critical technical state. A game that once enchanted millions of kids and teens around the world is now suffering from:

• hundreds of ongoing bugs,
• a support team that’s unresponsive and often dismissive,
• what appears to be neglect from the developers,
• a clear shift of focus toward MSP2, abandoning the original game,
  widespread inactivity and a dying player base.
• The migration from Flash to the app-based version of MSP1 was a complete disaster. Not only did it break key features, but it also introduced far more bugs than it fixed. The game is now nearly unplayable.
• Leveling up has become impossible. In the past, it was feasible to reach level 101 fairly, today, even with daily pixel farming, that’s no longer possible.

This petition is a call to action for the MSP team to finally take responsibility and bring meaningful improvements to the game we all grew up with.

Here are our proposed solutions to save MSP: 

• Fix the bugs permanently, possibly by migrating MSP1 to Unity (the same engine used in MSP2 and BlockStarPlanet).
• Overhaul the support system, which is currently ineffective and often ignores tickets by marking them “resolved” without any reply.
• Reduce the Fame required to reach higher levels, or create new fair ways to earn Fame. Also they must remove the fame limit on MSP1, and for the StarCoins earned from the movies, because this is ridiculous...
• Release regular updates, even small ones, to show that the game is still alive.
• RELAUNCH PROPER ADVERTISING: MSP hasn’t been promoted for nearly 10 years, which has led to player decline.
• Leverage nostalgia by launching a temporary “MSP OG” event with old-style visuals and music, like Fortnite did with huge success.
• Shut down near-empty servers (e.g. New Zealand, Norway, Finland, Australia, Canada…), which only cost money while serving no active players.
  MSP1 has clearly been left behind in favor of MSP2. But MSP2 remains boring, empty, and heavily pay-to-win. The Fame system is unfairly capped, and reaching the Highscore requires spending hundreds of dollars. After 30 minutes of playing, there’s often nothing left to do.

👉 MSP1 still has an active and loyal community. It deserves attention, care, and a chance to rise again. 

Let's all send a mail to MovieStarPlanet support, by explaining the main problems (cited in my petition) and asking to do something, to recreate the hype that there was in the past.

I mean.. What is the goal to keep a server opened while this is what the TOP MOVIE looks like..
