Say NO to the planning application for over 200 dwellings on this Green Belt land and save Moore Place Golf Course Green Belt in Esher from development.

Planning application 2025/3373 was submitted by Charterhouse Strategic Land and Moore Place Holdings to create 206 new homes on the site of the old Moore Place Golf Course. If this goes ahead, this will have a material impact on Esher and surrounding areas, with invaluable Green Belt land gone forever.

As a group of local residents, we are vehemently opposed to the development of invaluable and irreplaceable Green Belt land. We ask that you sign this petition to Elmbridge Councillors opposing this planning application.

Development of the Moore Place Golf Course will:

• Cause permanent loss of invaluable Green Belt and biodiverse green space and wildlife.

• Change the semi-rural character of Esher and the loss of a 300 year old landscape with all its trees. 

• Have a detrimental impact on the heritage and character of the Esher Conservation Area. 

• Increase further the traffic and congestion on roads and station parking.

• Increase pressure on local services, such as GP surgeries and schools.

• Increase pressure on an already overwhelmed public transport systems.

• Increase air pollution.
