The next meeting of the Montrose TIRZ board is Monday, October 21 at 6:30 PM at the Havens Center at Saint Stephen’s Episcopal Church on West Alabama.

The agenda that is now posted on the TIRZ website indicates there will be a vote taken to authorize next steps on the Montrose Boulevard project. THIS COULD BE WHAT WE HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR!  I am begging everyone who supports the trees to show up and speak at the beginning of the meeting to again reinforce your desire to make sidewalk street and drainage improvements, but do it without destroying our beloved street trees! 

I will be there with the last of the “Save the Montrose Live Oaks” t-shirts to give away to any supporters who have been waiting for an XL or XXL shirt.
