A Major Relief: Demolition Order Stayed

Dear supporters,

We are grateful to share an important development in our campaign to save Mohammad Ali Jauhar University. The Moradabad Divisional Commissioner has stayed the Rampur Development Authority's demolition order concerning 38 university buildings. This relief brings hope to thousands of students, teachers, staff, and their families whose education, livelihoods, and future were at risk.

This encouraging development shows that public concern and peaceful advocacy matter. So far, 9,980 people have signed this petition, sending a powerful message that education must be protected and justice must prevail.

While this is a significant step forward, the matter is not yet over. We continue to appeal for a fair, lawful, and permanent solution that safeguards the rights of students and staff, protects this important educational institution, and explores legal alternatives, including compounding wherever permissible, instead of demolition.
