10,100+ Strong — But Our Mission Is Not Over!

Dear supporters,
Today, our campaign has crossed 10,100 signatures! Thank you to every person who has signed, shared, and stood with us in support of justice, education, and human rights. Your solidarity gives hope to thousands of students, teachers, staff members, and their families.
Please don't stop now. Share this petition as widely as possible. Every new signature brings us one step closer to a permanent solution.
The demolition order against Mohammad Ali Jauhar University has been stayed until further orders by the Commissioner, Moradabad Division. While this is an important and encouraging development, it is only temporary—not the final victory we are seeking.
The sword of demolition still hangs over the University.
We respectfully urge the authorities to adopt a lawful and constructive solution, including compounding or any other legal mechanism, instead of demolition. A university is a place where knowledge is created, young minds are shaped, and the future of a nation is built. In a civilized and democratic society, the demolition of a university should never become an option. Such acts belong to the darkest chapters of history, when centres of learning were destroyed instead of protected.
This is not merely about one institution. It is about defending **the right to education, human rights, minority rights, women's rights, the rule of law, and the values of justice and democracy.
As part of this peaceful campaign, I have:
* Started this Change.org petition.
* Sent representations to the Prime Minister of India, the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, the Chief Secretary, the Governor of Uttar Pradesh, the District Magistrate of Rampur, and the Commissioner of Moradabad Division.
* Submitted a communication to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) through its Special Procedures.
Our movement is peaceful. Our appeal is lawful. Our goal is justice.
Let's keep the momentum alive. Please sign, share, and encourage others to join this campaign. Together, we can protect Mohammad Ali Jauhar University, safeguard the future of thousands of students, and demonstrate that dialogue, justice, and the rule of law are stronger than demolition.
Every signature matters. Every share counts. Together, we can make a difference.
With gratitude,
Mohd Abdul Saeed Khan (Saeed Khan Falahi)
