Our Fight for Justice Goes Global: Complaint Submitted to the UN Human Rights Office

I want to share an important update. I have now submitted a formal complaint to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), requesting international attention to the serious human rights concerns arising from the proposed demolition of the university.

This step follows my continuous efforts to seek a peaceful, lawful, and democratic resolution. So far, I have submitted representations and appeals to:

* The Hon'ble Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh
* Her Excellency the Governor of Uttar Pradesh
* The Chief Secretary, Government of Uttar Pradesh
* The Commissioner, Moradabad Division
* The District Magistrate, Rampur
* The National Human Rights Commission (NHRC), India
* And now, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR)

In every representation, I have urged the authorities to immediately halt the demolition, explore compounding or any lawful alternative, and protect the constitutional and human rights of students, employees, and their families. This is not only about buildings—it is about education, livelihoods, dignity, and the future of thousands of people.

I remain committed to resolving this issue through dialogue, the rule of law, and respect for human rights.
