Milton has a big, beautiful, historic Southern Pecan tree growing at the corner of Route 16 and Union Street Extended (across from McDonalds).  It’s the tallest Southern Pecan tree in Delaware and one of the oldest.  Teddy Roosevelt was president 125 years ago when it was just a seedling.  A developer wants to build a Royal Farms on the property.  Many of us in Milton want to save this amazing, living treasure.  And it can easily be saved.  It grew in exactly the perfect spot to survive this development.  We need your help.  Let’s show the developer and DelDOT that the people of Milton want to preserve and protect this beautiful part of our community and history.  Please take a moment and sign this petition.  Now is the time to act while we still have a chance to save Milton’s Pecan tree.  Thanks, Kevin Fleming
