Merry Christmas to all supporters of the Save Millport Pier campaign. Attached below is the latest update on the Millport Flood Protection Scheme which features an update on the Save Millport Pier campaign. Thank you for all the support you have given to over recent moths. Please be assured that although it appears that NAC are now considering the building of a new pier as part of the FPS, which they certainly were not doing prior to our campaign, we will continue to fight for our current pier to be put back into working order until a replacement is built. It is inconceivable for an island community to be without a working pier and landing facilities for the foreseeable future and it is our intention to continue our campaign until this happens.
