Truro's favorite 200 year old road, best known for watching the sunset, walking and biking, is in danger. The town recommends a "retreat" project that will open a 95 foot breach to the Mill Pond - the first project of it's kind in the state of MA. An alternative plan exists to install an 8 foot culvert under the road that will be just as effective. Email Truro Selectmen before February 21 that you oppose abandoning the road.
