The grave as it is now is completely overgrown and it is difficult in its current state to appreciate the characteristics of this tomb that make is unique and worth saving. I have found some photos from 1999 which help show off the ornamentation decorating the tomb as well as close-ups of the inscriptions on the headstone from which we can see that Foo Teng Nyong was born in 1849, died in 1883 and was entombed in 1884.
