Our petition will be tabled tonight at the Council Meeting to be held on 31 October 2022.  An ‘Immediate Comment’ for the Council Meeting Addendum Agenda has been provided by Shannon Maynard. – Manager, Community Safety and Compliance  After the Council Meeting he will be in touch with you regarding progress on the matter.

The tabling of the petition at the Council Meeting is the formal, public process for placing these matters before Council. Generally, there is little or no discussion by Councillors on petitions, other than to vote on a motion to formally receive the petition and refer it to the appropriate Council officer for action.  There is no requirement for you to attend the meeting.
