Last chance to save Marian St Theatre - Rally in Red next Sunday 2 August

Dear supporters,
After 13 years of closure, and years of promises, Marian St Theatre is at a critical point — we need urgent action to save it.
Last month, Ku-ring-gai Councillors voted not to proceed with plans to reopen Marian St Theatre. Unless they urgently reverse this decision, the architectural plans will expire on 19 August.
If that happens, years of work, $1.7 million of public investment and the only short-term plan to reopen Marian St Theatre will be lost. The community could be forced to wait another decade for it to reopen - if ever.
Rally in Red
12-2pm Sunday 2 August
Opposite Council Chambers (Outside Gordon Library)
Wear something red and join local residents, artists, performers and supporters for this family-friendly, inclusive event. Special guests include Geraldine Turner OAM and Matt Cross MP, with performances by artists and dancers.
This is about numbers. The more people we have at the rally, the more Councillors will care.
Thank you again for your ongoing support, and we look forward to seeing you there.
Warm wishes
Jess
