Greeting everyone, and thank you so much for all your support! We have gathered over 1,075 supporters in just 3 months! Recently, we updated the petition to follow the "Support. Don't Punish" policies while separating Cannabis as a stand alone medical substance that we feel should be researched and studied locally. Let us take this time to explain more about this new update and our intentions of doing so. The use and abuse of substances has been around since the beginning of human history. These substances may range from alcohol, cigarettes, coffee, all the way to man-made drugs. Each of these substances shared a period in time when its consumption was at it's peak. The result and effect of each substance can be clearly observed and reviewed by the public instead of the need to experience it themselves. It is however certain, that the majority of human beings tend to find ways to elevate the state of mind above the common or conscious state. The ability for Cannabis to switch the state of mind from Beta to Theta is why we chose to place it as a medical substance besides having many other medical benefits. This is clearly explained in our pilot study titled "Human Evolution & Cannabis", written and published by Harish Kumar and the local NGO, MCare Society. The study combines biology and physics to uncover the depths of human psychology and has achieved high recognition from the scientific community. However, funds or clinical research opportunities on Cannabis use by humans are almost nil in Malaysia. We are working together to form an opening either locally or abroad to start the clinical study based on the theories mentioned in "Human Evolution & Cannabis". The results from this study would uncover vast knowledge on Cannabis and may aid in the advancement of humanity towards the new age. With the policies mentioned in SDP, education about each drug can be done more vividly and will reach a broader range of people from children to adults. SDP also removes drugs and its use from being a crime. This has been proven in the many countries already practicing it to severely decrease crimes and use of drugs as a whole. The existence or influence of the "Black Market" and negative criminals are also decreased drastically. With an open canvas provided by SDP, dangerous drugs will be forgotten and the ancient Asian roots such as the Psychedelic Cannabis will be realized.
