Save Majid Kazemi from execution

Save Majid Kazemi from execution
The issue
Majid Kazemi, my cousin, is facing imminent execution in Iran for joining peaceful protests after the death of Mahsa Amini. He is being held under solitary confinement in prison in Isfahan, under which the Islamic Republic is torturing him.
For more information about Majid and his execution, please watch this video from ABC Australia or my recent interview with CNN.
I beg you for your support and for helping me raise awareness about Majid's situation and reach out to Minister Wong. I have prepared the following open letter pleading for her support and requesting that she urgently contacts the Foreign Minister of Iran.
Your signing of this open letter may save the life of an innocent human being. Every signature counts, and every minute is vital to save Majid's life.
Thank you for your kind support, and I'm immensely grateful for your time.

Dear Minister Wong
Pleading your urgent support for my cousin Majid Kazemi.
On 9 January 2023, my dear cousin, Majid Kazemi was sentenced to death in Iran for participating in a protest in November 2022. He is currently being held under solitary confinement within a prison in Isfahan, under which he is being tortured by the Islamic Republic and is at the imminent risk of execution within days. I am writing this letter to plead for your support to save his life.
Majid is only 30 years old. He is a compassionate, loving, and strong-willed person. He, like many other Iranians, participated in peaceful demonstrations to raise his voice and demand change. Majid and I were born two days apart and grew up together. The thought of losing Majid is unbearable - to say that the last couple of months has been a nightmare for our family is an understatement. At this stage, even though we fear retaliation from the Islamic Republic for speaking up, our family is doing everything we can to save his life.
In a recently leaked recording, Majid informed his family about the torturous subjugation he is being put through, as well as his false confession. Human rights advocates, journalists, and experts worldwide have condemned Majid's unlawful trials. He has been tortured into giving a false confession and has lacked legal representation.
Majid is among dozens of others who have been denied a fair trial or access to an independent lawyer. In addition, Majid's brother had also been arrested since he was also present with Majid at the time of the arrest. The Islamic Republic security forces tortured his brother and threatened to execute him if Majid continued to deny the forced confession.
The Islamic Republic has amplified the pressure on protesters by executing young, innocent individuals as a scare tactic and has made it clear that they intend to execute more to set an example. The regime will not stop until they are forced to do so.
Australia is among the most influential countries in United Nations in promoting and protecting human rights worldwide. The execution of Majid would constitute a serious violation of international human rights.
I kindly request that you speak urgently with the Islamic Republic Foreign Affairs Minister, Mr Hossein Amir-Abdollahian, and request that they spare Majid's life.
I’m now privileged to call Australia home, and I am reaching out to you as the most influential political figure representing our country globally. Several politicians in Australia and across the world have expressed their support for Majid. However, your support and action can significantly impact mounting the pressure on the Islamic Republic and save Majid’s life.
I beg for your immediate attention and action on this urgent humanitarian matter. At this point, every hour counts to save Majid.
Yours faithfully,
Mohammad Hashemi
