At this rate of decline the fireflies, once a common shining glow at the come of summer, equivalent to many cultures with the arrival of summer will soon be extinct. No longer will we be able to observe their amazing glow, night will be just a boring darkness filled with artificial light only.

- fireflies will be just as we consider the dodo and the dinosaurs.

Remember the times when they flew all over, that is now long gone, but there is a possibility for us to return to the amazing view they provided. They deserve to be in this planet with us.

This petition will be to help stop the Luciola novaki from disappearing.
