Logan has a condition called TILT (toxin induced loss of tolerance .. click the link to learn more). He deteriorates rapidly with low level exposures to common chemicals, toxins and VOC’s found in everyday environments. This was diagnosed by an M.D - Dr Irene Grant, after he had several chemical exposures. Logan needs to be kept in a specifically tailored environment away from all triggers, or else he rapidly degenerates physically and neurocognitively. He is the modern version of “bubble boy,” except it’s a toxin-driven disorder, that can be stabilized (or at least stopped from rapidly progressing), with avoidance of all triggers.  

Tuesday (10/26) he was forcibly locked in an ER for his belief that toxins are affecting him, and for venting out in pain via text message to a family member during an exposure episode (saying it was agonizing, he wanted to not exist anymore). Shortly after, he recovered, and was in a food shop eating some pizza and taking vitamins - but at that point they had already sent police to track him down - who locked him up. 

The dangerous part, is that people with TILT deteriorate rapidly in places such as ER’s or psych wards, with all of the chemicals and triggers found there (bleaches, disinfectants, other sick patients, solvents, medical devices, artificial fragrances, etc). As of today (Sunday, 10/31) he has been locked in an ER room for 6 days, held against his will in Massachusetts at South Shore Hospital, and is deteriorating rapidly. He is being continuously exposed, in abject agony, enduring permanent damage and locked in a single room with the door open unable to leave. This has happened to others before with TILT/ME/CFS as well, including one named Sofia Mirza who died. 

They will keep him locked up for his “belief toxins are affecting him,” because mainstream psychiatry does not yet understand this condition, and want to push psychoactive drugs to “fix” this belief (which have permanent side effects). They will say he is “somatic” (his brain creates these reactions and they’re imaginary) and is “refusing treatment,” by not taking the psychoactive drugs. 

So ironically, he will get worse and worse while  in the institution, but psychologists tell him it is his fault for “refusing treatment.” When in fact, it is his being locked in their environment that’s causing him deteriorate.

We know he does better when he is out this environment, and this is all quite unfortunate as he was making progress for several months prior to this.

Please help get Logan out before it’s too late. The consequences of this should not be underestimated.
