Today was the pre inquest review hearing. We were dreading it but as hard as it was it wasn’t as intimidating as we thought it would be. 
We were well looked after and everything was explained to us. 
This is such a long process and that at times feels cruel but at the same time we know that time means it’s being looked into thoroughly. 
Change must happen to prevent this happening again and we feel it’s also important to stop local authorities investigating themselves when things go wrong. 
This doesn’t sit right with us. 

We miss Chanté everyday. She struggled so much in life and it seems so unfair that her life ended before she’d managed to live a life, free of struggles.

 She was so talented in many ways and with the right support she could have lived a happy life 💔
