Thank you so much for reaching out to Supervisor Arenas. We are deeply saddened by the recent, tragic accident on Highway 25, where two lives were lost, including Priscilla Jones, a beloved Santa Clara County employee, wife and mother. Our thoughts are with the families, friends, and children who have lost a loved one. The loss of life is beyond heartbreaking.

Our office has reached out to Caltrans and asked them to take a close look at the specific area where this accident occurred. Our hope is that they may already have plans underway to bolster safety or that they can accelerate efforts to implement additional safety measures there. We requested an assessment of this section of the highway to research possible safety enhancements.
