Dear Friend of the Campaign to Save Liverpool Street Station,
Watch the Public Meeting at Bishopsgate Institute in London on 21st November at 6 pm online
We will be live streaming tomorrow’s Public Meeting to Save Liverpool Street Station via Zoom. Griff Rhys Jones, the President of the LISSCA campaign to save the station and President of the Victorian Society will be hosting and speaking at the meeting. We will be hearing from Robert Thorne, historian and author of Liverpool Street Station, from Joe O’Donnell, the Director of the Victorian Society and from Coco Whittaker of the Twentieth Century Society about why the 20th century works to the station and hotel are important.

Fighting these plans will mean a huge legal battle. The LISSCA Campaign will have to find huge amounts of money for legal and expert witness fees. We need the very best people to combat the sheer amount of money the developers are spending to get their plans approved. Please remember every penny counts and that if you choose to Giftaid it increases your donation with no extra expense to yourself. Our fundraiser is on Justgiving here
Object to the planning application by 30th November 2023
Thank you to everyone who has already objected to the plans to redevelop the Station. If you haven’t already objected, please do so by 30th November. This is your major chance to have your say and to express your formal opinion on Sellar and Network Rail’s plans for Liverpool Street Station. Please help us show the City of London Corporation that people are united against this insensitive redevelopment that will set a terrible precedent for heritage across the UK. We have produced a guide to writing an objection and most people find that doing an online objection can take as little as 5 or 10 minutes. Read the guide to object with the links to where you can write your objection here.

The Victorian Society is on TwitterX, Instagram, Facebook, Threads, Linkedin, and Bluesky. Please share our posts about the campaign – we need as many people to object by 30th November and donate as possible. The campaign's hashtags are #SaveLiverpoolStreetStation and #SeeItSaveIt.
Thank you for your continuing support.
Best wishes,
Griff Rhys Jones and all the LISSCA committee
