Dear supporter of the Save Liverpool Street Station campaign,
Thanks to everyone who joined us on 21st November for the Public Meeting. If you missed the live stream last week you can now watch the meeting on our YouTube channel here.
OBJECT NOW!
The deadline to file an objection to Sellar and Network Rail's plans is Thursday 30th November. Our guide to writing an objection, with all the email addresses and links you need, is on the Victorian Society website here.
This is your chance to have a say. This is so important as it is the formal democratic process to say no to these plans. The number of people objecting will be seen by the City of London Planning Committee and also the UK Government who, through Secretary of State Michael Gove, has the power to call-in this planning application so there will be a public inquiry.
PLEASE DONATE!
Whatever happens next we will need the ability to hire legal, transport and planning experts - please make this possible by making a donation. This is the only way we can stop the partial demolition of the station and prevent a huge tower being cantilevered through and over the Grade II* hotel. We are on JustGiving as Save Liverpool Street Station.
If you have already objected and donated - thank you so much.
Please SHARE our posts on social media - you will find the Victorian Society and the other LISSCA members on TwitterX, Facebook, Instagram, Threads, Linkedin and Bluesky. Our hashtags are #SaveLiverpoolStreetStation and #SeeItSaveIt.
Many thanks.
Griff Rhys Jones and the LISSCA Committee
