Yes! We want a Montessori school in Plymouth, Indiana, and 800 N Center St is a suitable location. The Board of Zoning Appeals voted 11/5 to deny our allowable special use exception due to traffic and tranquility concerns.

A little impact on traffic flow for 15-20 minutes twice a day is a small price to pay for ensuring a much needed alternative preschool stays in the community. 

The tranquility of the area will not be disturbed. We welcome the sound of children playing outside as an expected feature of a residential neighborhood.

The Board of Zoning Appeals should reverse their decision and grant the program the special use exception that the zoning ordinance allows. If not, we’ll lose this valuable community resource.
