Cutting these trees is City code violation. Call for help.

Thanks to Jeff for pointing us to city codes. Per chapter 16.14 TREE CANOPY PRESERVATION AND ENHANCEMENT of our municipal code, the land is a critical area and is prohibited from cutting healthy trees (16.14.080). Also it needs 28% canopy coverage (16.14.070) but currently only has 22% (i-Tree Canopy report). Even if new trees are planted, it would take several decades for them to provide adequate support and our critical region would remain vulnerable until then.
