This petition - now signed by almost 30,000 people - will be presented to the full meeting of Newcastle City Council councillors, this evening, on Wednesday 11th June, at 6pm in Newcastle Civic Centre. 

This is a public meeting and anyone is able to attend. 

A Cabinet Member will respond to the petition and propose a motion, which will then need to be seconded. There will then be the opportunity for two opposition speakers.
