Despite that fact the "Last Man Standing" was ABC’s second most watched comedy this season with 8.1 million viewers in Live +7, AND was the third most watched ABC scripted series overall, AND being #1 in its time slot, AND even does very well in syndication, ABC had decided to cancel the series.

The series follows Mike Baxter, a conservative senior executive and director of marketing for an outdoor sporting goods store chain based in Denver, Colorado, whose world is filled with his wife, three daughters, and grandson. His traditional values often clashed with those around him, including his liberal son-in-law Ryan (Jordan Masterson).  Nancy Travis co-starred as Mike’s wife Vanessa; Amanda Fuller, Molly Ephraim and Kaitlyn Dever played Mike and Vanessa’s three daughters. A wonderful comedy for the whole family.
