Caption:  The Community of Lake Tamarisk is located in the little white area directly below the dark blue proposed 3500 acre Easley Project and just above the currently under construction Oberon Project. The non-striped gray area is the location for the proposed 1100 acre Sapphire Project. 
These two projects would cove the entire natural desert between our Community and the Joshua Tree National Park mountains. 

President Biden acknowledged receiving a hard copy our Petition and documents. 

The BLM final permitting authority is currently reviewing the Petition and the accompanying documents.

The Riverside County Planning Department has also said they are reviewing the Petition.

The Secretary of State, Deb Haaland, will receive a hard copy next week. The Secretary is the final authority on the Desert Renewable Energy Conservation Plan for California which currently allows Industrial Scale Solar Installations at 25 FEET from our borders ! There is no excuse for overlooking an entire Community when there 130,000 acres available in the Focus Area for Renewable Energy that was defined be the DRECP !
