Save Kingston Pop-up Food Markets

Save Kingston Pop-up Food Markets
The Issue
Thank you for all the support and attention that you are all giving to the Kingston Food Markets. It has given the customers of the pop-up traders to have a greater chance to express their opinion.
Although we are pop-up traders, meaning that we are temporary and could be asked any day stop trading, we thought that we are part of the Kingston Food Market. However, to be told that that we could no longer run our stalls was upsetting. Some of us had started our first businesses there, which , have become very successful over the 2 to 3 years of trading and gained a great number of loyal customers. Whether it would be heavy rain or the blazing sun, we came and set up everyday to be part of the Kingston Food Market. We took, and still take, pride and joy when trading and enjoying food from our native countries but for this to be taken away with a notice of 1 week was very sentimental.
We know that it is not guaranteed that we will be able to trade in the Kingston Markets again so we would like to continue with this, not as a petition but as a space to let the customers and the public to openly express their opinion and show their unconditional support for the small businesses.
