Save Kingda Ka: Give it the Top Thrill 2 Treatment!

Save Kingda Ka: Give it the Top Thrill 2 Treatment!
The Issue
Kingda Ka rollercoaster at Six Flags Great Adventure is more than just a ride. It has become a symbol for thrill seekers from across the world. Loved by millions, this legendary attraction stands at the heart of the park’s identity. Visitors, including many who journey from across the US, are drawn to the unremarkable great adventure that King Da Ka offers. This rollercoaster creates memories that last a lifetime, uniting Roller Coaster Enthusiasts in an adrenaline pumping experience like no other.
Despite no official announcement of closure, rumours have circulated, spreading worry among the coaster industry and none of us thought this day would ever come. This alarming news has drawn more visitors to the park than ever, proving to the park and Six Flags Entertainment Corporation just how deeply this ride is cherished.
If Kingda Ka is to be removed like the rumors on the internet are speculating. We do not want to see it go. Its been an emotional rollercoaster of its own just to have been there on its final days of operation: hopefully nothing more than as we know it. The change we would like to see is that the The Top Thrill 2 Treatment be given to Kingda ka, to refurbish, re-energize, and continue providing the adrenaline rush that it has been known for. The rollercoaster is on its 20th anniversary, and we are not ready to say goodbye. We urge Six Flags Entertainment Corporation to invest in this iconic ride, preserving the thrills while ensuring safety and modern standards can be met.
Without Kingda Ka, Six Flags Great Adventure loses a substantial part of what makes it truly 'a great adventure'. It's our heartfelt intentions to protect this memorable attraction. Please sign this petition to show your support for the preservation and renewal of Kingda Ka. Together, we can prove that this rollercoaster is integral to our memories, our joy, and ultimately, to the unique magic of Six Flags Great Adventure. Let's save Kingda Ka and Long Live the King.
