The proposed name change threatens to erase our identity, create division among residents, and impose unnecessary economic burdens on our community. This proposal does not address any of the real concerns we face as a community.

The cost of changing all official documents, signage, and promotional materials is significant - funds that could be better spent on tangible improvements within our town. This proposed change has potential to divide us more than unite us. 

Kelseyville is more than just a name; it's home for many who have grown up here and those who have chosen it as their place of residence.
