We are calling for every community group, volunteer group, local business, and member of the community to join together in pressuring Essex County to save our historic bridges. Please call the county Manager Dan Palmer and express your frustration in the lack of support from our county supervisors and lack of action in over ten years. It’s time they listen to the reasons why the Upper Bridge should be saved. It’s time they listen to the year of research we have provided. It’s time they actively search for funding and use infrastructure money that is available to rehabilitate our upper bridge. No more excuses. Enough is enough. We want our bridge maintained for the next hundred years and it should be done right. It’s time for Essex County to take responsibility and listen to our requests and fix our bridge!
