Google's decision to discontinue the cloud-based Jamboard will hit hard thousands of teachers and educators who rely on the system for their interactive classes, both face-to-face and online. Google's suggested alternatives don't offer the same simplicity of use that Google Jamboard does, and are only free for educators working in US schools and universities, as opposed to Jamboard being free to use for everyone. Discontinuing the cloud-based Jamboard service will impact thousands of educators and learners all around the world and take one of Google's best products off the market. Google Jamboard is the only slide-based online collaborative whiteboard, which along with its built-in Google search features, makes it unique and invaliable.
