This is incredibly hard to write, but I’m trying everything I can to save my family dog, Jadas. He is scheduled to be put down May 4th. He is a 9-year-old Redbone Hound Husky who deserves a real chance to enjoy his golden years in a loving, patient home. Jadas is: • Very loving and loyal • High-energy and full of personality • Best suited for an adult home (no young kids) He is not neutered, and I truly believe this has contributed to some of the behaviours that have become difficult for my family to handle. I am willing to help cover the cost to have him fixed, because I truly believe with the right care and environment, he can do so much better. Right now, he can show signs of: • Pacing and restlessness • Whining and agitation • Wanting to roam and difficulty settling I strongly believe these behaviours are linked to built up energy and hormones, along with not having the right outlet for his needs, like somewhere to freely run ☹️ Jadas would do best with someone who: • Has experience with high energy or working breeds • Can give him time, structure, and consistency • Is patient and willing to help him decompress and succeed This situation is urgent, and I am heartbroken. I just want to find someone who will give him the best golden years.

Every year, countless animals find themselves in need of a loving home and a second chance in life. In Muskoka, the situation is no different. Currently, I am urgently seeking a new home for my loving 9-year-old hound-husky, Jada, a gentle soul who, through no fault of his own, finds himself in an unexpected situation. Sadly, due to unforeseen personal circumstances, I am unable to continue providing the care and attention he deserves.
